To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:12-13

Our Vision
The Resource Center of Northlake exists to promote the mission and ministries of the Church. It does this primarily as a training and enabling tool for both staff and members. Northlake Resource Center supports the mission (Helping people far from God turn and follow Jesus from the heart), by putting its primary emphasis on providing books, magazines, audio/visual and other materials that will:
- Encourage communication with the unsaved about the person of Jesus Christ and enable people to give their lives to Christ in accordance with God’s plan.
- Train God’s people to spiritual maturity and in the exercise of their gifts in service.
- Motivate and enable God’s people to reach out with God’s love to our families, people in our community, and around the world.
Who can visit the Resource Center?
Anyone who is a member or regular attendee of Northlake Christian Church may use the Resource Center.
Where is the Northlake Resource Center?
The Northlake Resource Center is located on the second floor in Room 201, which is above the church office.
When is the Resource Center open?
The Resource Center’s circulating items will be available to users before and after services on Sunday mornings and other times as room scheduling allows. Returning books, audio & video items may be done any time the church building is open in the book-drop in the foyer.
How Can You Get Involved:
- Everyone from age 2-102 can get involved by checking out and using the material in the center. The books and materials are of no real value decorating the shelves, but are of value when they inform, inspire, challenge, or enlighten our lives.
- Everyone can pray for the Resource Center. We need prayer support to encourage the workers while doing the many tasks necessary to make it grow and run smoothly. We also need prayer that we may stay on the task of selecting the materials that are useful and edifying and meet the needs of the congregation.
- Donate: Financial gifts are always welcome. Please make checks payable to Northlake, as we are a ministry of this church. If giving to a special Resource Center project above your regular giving, please note on the check: Resource Center Fund. All customers of the local Christian bookstores can ask for “Library Builder Stamps” and turn them into the can in the Resource Center. This results in free books for our collection.
- Direct donation of material may be given to the Resource Center. Before doing so, please check with the person in charge and fill out the green donation form before submitting any books or materials.
- Many people can volunteer to keep the Resource Center operational. We always need volunteers:
