How Men's Ministry Works

Courage
It takes a lot of courage to live the truth of God in our homes, at our churches, and in the work place. As men, we meet together to spur each other on and  fan the flame of the Spirit within our lives. Our desire is to love God with everything within us and to love each other. Men need passion for God and worship that exceeds our passion for sports.

Leadership
Men need to take godly leadership in the home and at church by serving and laying our lives down. Our ministry has needs for men to help lead, plan and organize events and outreach.

Relationships
Strong relationships are a key to growth and maturity. There is a need to connect with other men to study, memorize, and meditate on the word of God. As relationships grow, our faith is tested and our love is stretched. Through support, prayer, and encouragement, we will grow in our faith and our love to be effective leaders and servants.

How Can You Get Involved

Special Events
A fun and fulfilling way to immediately get to know other men. All men welcome! This takes the form of Superbowl parties, summer BBQs and breakfasts.

Bible Studies
A group of men that meet to study the Word of God and learn how to apply it to everyday life. Several days and times are available.

Small Groups
Develop a core group of men to help live the truth of God and share struggles and get support and encouragement from other men.

Retreat
A time for spiritual renewal, new relationships, and escape from the chaotic world to focus on loving God and loving men in the church.

Sports
Men like sports. Many different sports activities help men get involved and start relationships. This is an easy way to get connected by participating or even organizing sporting events.

Computers
A vital and needed talent is to help promote and organize the men’s ministry. A team to creatively use technology to serve others and honor God.

Support
A team of men to help out in a variety of ways to organize, setup, or communicate for planned events.

Service
To keep the ministry informed on how to serve other ministries or the community regarding needs that men can meet.
